The speakers are 12" Fender Blue Label, 8 ohms. They were
made by Chicago Telephone Supply (CTS) Corp., Elkhart,
Indiana. Date code is 7923. The owner plans on having them
reconed. It will be interesting how they will turn out.
It's always good to look at connections on older equipment especially
the ones on tube pins. I use a probe with a hook on the end to gently
pull on the connections. Sure it takes time but for me it's well worth it.
All of these tubes are "Fender Special Design" and all test very good.
The 6L6GC tubes were made by Sylvania and have a date code of 926.
The 12AT7 and 12AX7 tubes were made by General Electric in 1978.
