| With the rectifier tube 5Y3 removed and using an adapter the AC voltage is measured from chassis to pin 4 and 6. This is after the amplifier was tested using the dim bulb method. The meter reads the no load AC voltage from the power transformer secondary. |
| The two capacitors in above picture are one of the differences between the current available schematic for the "VIBRO-CHAMP AMP AA764." These are 1 MFD at 15 VDC in parallel making 2 MFD connected to pin 8 of V1b tube 12AX7A. Interesting that hook-up is shown on the Champ amplifier schematic. |
